Zero Liquid Discharge Plant

In this application feed to Evaporator have salts which are corrosive and having scale forming tendency and to handle this we select Forced Circulation Evaporator is the ideal choice. In this type of evaporator , liquid is pumped through heat exchanger tubes at high velocity (around 2 m/s ) avoiding precipitation and creating high turbulence, liquid is then passed through vapor separator for separation of vapor and finally condensing the vapor in the condenser . Concentrated liquid is continuously discharged from bottom of vapor separator. Though they consume higher power than convential evaporators, this gets compensated by Reduced Scaling Tendency, Reduced Downtimes and Reduced Cleaning Frequencies .
